How it All Started...
Alpaca Crossing started out as the brainchild of two women on opposite sides of the prison wall, who shared a common goal: to provide consistent, thoughtful, and substantive support to the marginalized communities within the carceral system. Together, they bring compassion, knowledge, experience, empathy and dedication to their work with the incarcerated -population.

Mission
To provide substantive and sustaining non-legal advocacy and support to incarcerated members of the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities in Washington State.
Vision
At Alpaca Crossing, we believe that everyone deserves support and understanding. We envision a world in which the sanctity and humanity of incarcerated members of the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities are preserved and respected.
